五湖四海皆兄弟

“Don’t doubt a Chongqing person’s social skills, For them, all people are friends in the world. They can talk about the whole world.

“不要懷疑一個(gè)重慶人的社交能力,對(duì)他們來說,全天下的人都是朋友。他們可以談?wù)撜麄€(gè)世界?!?

Together with the city’s architecture, Chongqing’s “immigrant culture” is directly tied to the people’s honesty, tolerance, and openness. Records indicate that there have been eight significant waves of immigration, dating back as far as the Qin Dynasty.

Huguang Club, a historical relic of successful trade between the Ming and Qing dynasties, is a byproduct of “Huguang flooding Sichuan.” At Chaotianmen in the Yuzhong Peninsula, where the new prosperity contrasts with the previous prosperity, people constantly come and go. The name of the club, “Sihai,” alludes to prosperity.

The metal door on the second floor of Canopée Café leads to the club. If you drive, you can take the elevator up to the club’s first floor. Huguang Club’s peeling walls, undulating eaves, the Yangtze River, and the shade of the trees are all visible.

重慶的建筑風(fēng)格,城市肌理與這里的“移民文化”密不可分,也與當(dāng)?shù)厝说墓⒅?、包容和開放精神直接相關(guān)。據(jù)記錄,移民潮涌現(xiàn)已有八次之多,可追溯至秦朝。

湖廣會(huì)館是明清兩朝繁華商皋的歷史見證,是“湖廣填四川”的產(chǎn)物。在渝中半島的朝天門碼頭,商旅往來絡(luò)繹不絕,新舊繁華交相輝映。

會(huì)所取繁華之意,喚做“四?!?。在 Canopée Café 的二樓,有穿過會(huì)館的金屬門。若驅(qū)車前來,可經(jīng)電梯抵達(dá)會(huì)所的首層。一樣看得到長江,看得到樹蔭,看得到湖廣會(huì)館剝落的墻漆和起伏的屋檐……

室內(nèi)是純粹的白,看似不著一物,實(shí)則是以無勝有,富有節(jié)奏的留白,似乎構(gòu)建起了更為遼闊的場(chǎng)面,足以裝載情緒和文化,對(duì)話千百年歷史。在光與影的交替之間,見過的人、談過的事,協(xié)助“本我”不斷向“自我與超我”演進(jìn)。
